Banking -
Banks on Cozumel are typically open from 9 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
There are a number of banks on the island which will exchange
currency. They are: Banpais (tel: 987/872-0318), Bancomer
(tel: 987/872-0550), Banco del Atlantica (tel: 987/872-0142),
and Banco Serfin (tel: 987/872-0930).
Money Exchange -
Should you need to exchange money after banking hours have
ended, try the Promotora Cambiaria del Centro at Av. 5a S
at Calle 1 S. The exchange rate is typically not as good
as at the banks, but the exchange stays open from 8 A.M.
to 9 P.M. Monday through Saturday.
Police -
Should you have an emergency requiring the help of the police,
their phone number is 987/872-0092.
Hospital -
There are several new and very modern 24 hr. medical clinics
on the island. One is CMC (Centro Medico de Cozumel) locatel
on Calle 1. It's open 24 hrs., English speaking doctors,
very modern, laboratory, air ambulance, associated with Miami
hospital, airvac, professional and friendly service. Phones

Post Office -
The post office is located on Calle 7 at Av. Melgar. The
phone number is 987/872-0106. It is open weekdays from 8
A.M. to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Visitor Information -
Located in Plaza del Sol mall, the tourism office of Cozumel
can answer any questions you may have about the island and
what it has to offer. The office is open from 9:00 A.M. to
2:30 P.M. on weekdays and the telephone number is 987/872-0972.
